Highlights from TPE 2018
“We’re always looking to give our readers the latest scoop not just on what’s going on, but on what’s beyond the horizon,” said Brandon A. Dorfman, Editor-in-Chief of PotNetwork News. “It’s our duty to be their eyes and ears at influential gatherings like this. To be their fly on the wall of conversations among both famed insiders and lesser known, but equally influential experts.”
Now in its fifteenth year, TPE has grown to be an influential opportunity for those connected with the tobacco industry to network and learn about new trends, products, and opportunities. It is traditionally the first and largest buying event of the extended industry and often the place where big deals and big stories break, as witnessed last year by the Scandinavian Tobacco Group acquisition of Thompson Cigar and the Quality Importer acquisition of Xikar.
This year’s edition will feature over 500 exhibitors is expected to be just as important, with upward of 3,000 larger-than-life figures and decision makers from around the world in attendance.
The event coincides with the launch of PotNetwork’s sister publication, PotNetwork Magazine, a first edition print magazine that gives readers an in-depth insider’s look at the budding cannabis industry. Born from the same grit and hard-hitting unbiased daily news delivered every day on PotNetwork, the new magazine is a natural extension that promises to delve deeper into the untold stories of the cannabis space.
PotNetwork Magazine aims to explore every sector of the cannabis industry from ancillary companies to those that directly support the industry, all the way up to those that directly touch the plant. It will be an opportunity for industry insiders to become experts in cultivation & retail while allowing new entrepreneurs to learn the latest trends in CBD and medical marijuana. Hemp products, consumption devices, investing & finance, and new technologies will all be explored in the magazine.
