The publication has a subsidiary that’s stocking for the opening of a Las Vegas extraction facility.
Readers know Freedom Leaf magazine as a source for up-to-date cannabis industry news. You may not know that the publication also runs a side business, a seed-to-shelf hemp extraction company called Leafceuticals.
That wholly owned subsidiary Leafceuticals is about to get a lot bigger. The company announced in a December 5 release that they’re buying 600 pounds of hemp from Pahrump, Nevada’s Harris Farms.
Leafceuticals also plans a facility to process the hemp, to be built in Las Vegas, Nevada by contractor Reliable Steel.
“The success of this joint venture is expected to produce significant income for 2018 and enable Freedom Leaf, Inc. to build out a multi-million dollar facility in conjunction with Reliable Steel,” Freedom Leaf CEO and co-founder Clifford J. Perry said in the release.
Freedom Leaf is applying for a permit to import industrial hemp from other states. Their subsidiary Leafceuticals is best known for their Hempology line of vapours and whole-plant extracts.
