Agriculture Commissioner Positive T.A. Nelson and 420MEDIA set to host CANNAVAL, the first cannabis conference and expo in St. Croix

This year’s most significant cannabis conference and expo are set to launch on the island of St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands, as Agriculture Commissioner Positive T.A. Nelson and the 420MEDIA agency will host CANNAVAL, the first event of its kind in the region.

Scheduled for the weekend of July 19, the event will begin on Friday, with island activities, a meet and greet reception, and evening networking events followed by the full program on Saturday, July 20.

Unlike other cannabis events, CANNAVAL is designed to educate and empower. As noted in a recent statement by the event organizers, the event is being held during a time of transition for the legal cannabis marketplace, and it will give all those who attend, including companies and organizations an exclusive opportunity to network with government officials, entrepreneurs, medical and seasoned professionals in an open and welcoming environment that will cultivate and inspire.

The goal is to stimulate the growth of the cannabis economy on the islands and beyond.

Notably, PotNetwork News has been named one of the media partners of CANNAVAL, a testament to the sites ability to cultivate relationships in the industry, as well as to its overall coverage of the growing cannabis sector.

“PotNetwork News is thrilled to be a part of a cannabis event with such a deep focus on education, awareness, empowerment, and information,” said Brandon Dorfman, Editor-in-Chief of PotNetwork News in a statement. “420MEDIA and NT Media Productions are putting together what plans to be one of the premier events in the industry and one with an educational focus that is sorely needed.”

Of course, the event would not be possible without the leadership of Kerri Accardi and 420MEDIA, one of the few women-led businesses in the cannabis industry. Anyone looking to contact Kerri for info can reach her at 425-420-0585.

Attendees and exhibitors who are part of the conference will have an opportunity to enjoy a variety of planned activities and local excursions where they will be able to experience the island’s beauty.

General Admission to the event will be free for USVI residents. Speakers and the complete program will be available shortly on the event’s main page: http://www.cannavalusvi.com/

Limited sponsorship opportunities are also available to those who are interested. For more information, contact 420MEDIA at 425-420-0585.
